We Found a House!
Another section of a message to share with all:
And just to say because I'm all excited about it- I fell in love with a house and its little community last night. It's in Rochester and not too far from Vu's work, but it's brand spankin' new... and styled like an old house! I never thought I'd find that, but I did. That's what I most wanted. Vu wanted an all-new house, and I wanted the character of an older one, though did want the features and quality. It's got the BEST of both worlds, and I'm in love! It's actually a certain model in a planned community of these types of houses, which is also just what I wanted. I can't believe such a place exists; it's all I wanted. Just like my wedding dress was old, new, modern with an old-fashioned looking arm thing, and hippy-ish because it was whispy-ish... and just like how Pete Grasso seems to be all I wanted in a presidential candidate. I can't believe I'm finding all these things. And I fell in love with the apartment I picked out in Rochester, where we "will" live for a few years as we save up for a down-payment on one of those brand spankin' new houses down there! I've just been jumping out of my skin for happiness and can't even sleep because of all of it. Even the HINGES and DOORKNOBS and DOORSTOPS in this house suit me, and as strange as it sounds, that's very important to me. lol I would've changed all of them in a house if I didn't like them. :)

I like the red one, though it's the only one they have pics of the inside of. :) I've already
pretty much decided how to landscape the yard, (some privacy fencing since it's on a corner
in the open,) and am thinking of how to finish off the unfinished basement to suit our needs,
master bedroom with its own bathroom... with two sinks, third bedroom/office/library/whatever
room, and maybe a play area for kids or a play friendly den-thing.) Sorry to bore you but I MUST
express myself some how!

Well, first we need to know if Vu will get a job there or not. I know it's all a short period of
time, but he was advised by the HR director, who liked him, to apply in April. So first he has to
pick a job, write a resume for that particular one, apply, wait for the answer, get the answer, and
THEN we'll get it set up! I would love for it all to be arranged right now, but we can't yet.
And yeah, it's cute and I'm crazy for many of its features, but looking at it all more has me realize, despite the square footage, how small it is. So much is packed on the main level, and it does all seems quite small. I don't need big, but I'm seeing it as less practical now. And if we have a few kids?? I don't know. I'd like to know if there's enough room in the basement to build a few more rooms. I might call them.
